Website Designer

Description
Your role will be to design ecommerce-ready websites,
using a proprietary web design tool. Your typical customer will
be a small or mid-size business in the United States.
This is an equal opportunity, commission-based, telecommuting
career. You can work either full time or part time, on your own
schedule.
Responsibilities
• Obtain appropriate tools and training
to familiarize yourself with the features and benefits of our website
design and hosting solutions
• Master a proprietary web design tool, using
an online tutorial and phone or live chat assistance
• Identify potential clients, give each an
overview of the benefits, schedule a phone appointment for the client
with the sales department, and participate in the sales call as
a listener — the sales representative will negotiate the price
suggested by you, and close the sale
• Design the client’s website
• Ensure client satisfaction throughout the
design process, upon the launch of the website, and beyond
• Obtain testimonials and referrals from
satisfied clients
• Follow through with client referrals
Qualifications
• Website design experience
• Proficient user of computers (Windows or Mac)
• Excellent written and oral communication skills in English
• Business-minded self starter and go-getter
• Able to handle rejection
• Team player, also able to work independently
• Sales experience a plus, but not required
